In 2024 we gifted our valued customer the first Forest of Thanks – in 2025 we are continuing the tradition with more trees planted and more reasons for sharing hope.
Through Forests of Hope, which was proudly established in 2024 to honour the legacy of Dr Jane Goodall, we decided to present our customers with their own Forest of Hope, lovingly called the Forest of Thanks. In 2024 we planted 1,400 plants at the Belvidere Conservation Project Site in South Australia.
As our thank you for a great 2025 we are excited to again invite our partners, customers, and community to get involved in this planting.
This planting is a thank you for your support and an active contribution towards the legacy of hope created by Dr Jane Goodall. Get your team involved in the lead-up to the planting by using the template here to share what makes you hopeful. This site has been carefully chosen in partnership with Trees for Life. The beautiful location is the result of years of passionate work from local landholder David, and his small team. Together, they are establishing and maintaining 160 acres of conservation land, designed to increase local biodiversity and restore the local environment to its former glory.
This new planting will focus on adding more established vegetation to direct seeding efforts in the ‘Magnificent 7’ location.
Trees for Life has been working with David at the conservation site for many years now, and when you visit, you will be able to see the impressive result of direct seeding of native plants.
The Belvidere Conservation Site is also home to a wide range of fauna and flora, including the beautiful Belvidere Orchid (Belvidere greenhood). This rare flora is unique to this area.
The growing animal biodiversity in the local area includes echidnas, possums, snakes and lizards, kangaroos and a stunning array of birdlife.
